Step 1: The Subject

1st Form students can pick any subject you like. But:

• pick a subject that's not too large. Don't pick football or horses, but Arsenal or Shetlanders
• don't pick a subject that's boring for half the class.
• make sure you already know sonething about it
• make sure there are images available. Can't do without.

Step 2: Gather Information & Images

• Copy-paste texts and turn them into keywords
• Download large image files. No stamps please! Download images first, if you copy them from Internet, you'll lose them.

Step 3:Build a Powerpoint

Make sure you are doing the following:

• Use 5-10 slides (dia's)
• Use a welcome slide (title slide)
• Use a table of contents (inhoudsopgave)
• Use a "The End" slide

Regarding Layout:

• Use a few colours, not 100.000 colours
• Make sure the contrast works on the beamer (bright - dark colours, text readable)
• Use large images, no post stamps

Step 4: Complete the text

• Use keywords on every slide. No long texts
• Use the Notes field for your personal full text. Use to cheat or to speak load from.
• This PPT is in English!

Step 5: Present!

• Stand firm
• Smile!
• Present. Breathe. Enjoy!
• Speak loud.
